Medical Director: Dr. Eric Hatashita MD CCFP FCFP
Dr. Eric HATASHITA MD CCFP FCFP was born and trained in Toronto. After being appointed Chief Resident at Mt Sinai Hospital, he taught part time in their emergency department as a University instructor while running his own solo practice and serving as sports physician to the National Judo Team.
Invited by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to assist in developing their Residency Training program, he lived and taught medicine overseas starting in 1996. During this time, he was chosen to become Family Physician to the Royal Family of King Abdullah in recognition of his committment to clinical excellence. Returning to Toronto with his family in 2005, he brings over 31 years of diverse medical experience to the clinic holding the highest honours in Family Medicine, the "FCFP".
Dietitian: Carol Seto RD
Carol Seto is a Registered Dietitian with extensive clinical experience in nutrition counseling specializing in diabetes, cardiovascular health and weight management. She has worked with federal and provincial government agencies, the non-profit sector and private industry on health programs and has broad media experience with interviews for television, radio, newspaper and magazines.
Psychologist: Dr. Gerry Dancyger
Gerry Dancyger, Ph.D., C.Psych. is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in counseling individuals, couples and families, providing treatment for a broad range of problem areas using client-centered therapy, cognitive therapy, behaviour therapy and hypnosis. As well, Dr. Dancyger is able to provide management consultation, executive coaching, disability management and crisis services.
Optometrist: Dr. Faizal Mohamed
Dr. Mohamed attended the University of Waterloo receiving the highly coveted Canada Scholarship award. He has extensive experience in family eye care, contact lens fitting, as well as laser eye surgery co-management. He is a consultant at the Yonge-Eglinton Laser Center and Toronto Eye Surgery Center where he works closely with Dr. David Rootman (world renowned corneal specialist), in the co-management of cataract and refractive laser patients.
Optometrist: Dr. Mike Rotholz
A second generation Optometrist, "Dr Mike" obtained his undergraduate degree from McGill University, where he earned “Great Distinction”, and his optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1998. He has a well established, office-based general practice at Bay and Bloor and has extensive experience in contact lenses, pre- & post-op LASER & cataract surgery care, primary and urgent eye care. He has been Lead Clinical Investigator in several major contact lens related studies, lectures on topics in eye and contact lens care and is quoted in the Toronto newspapers and national magazines on topics related to eye care.
Audiologist: Carol Boychuk
Carol holds a BA from Rutgers University in Speech Pathology and Psychology as well as a MS from Columbia University in Audiology. Carol brings 30 years of experience in the assessment of hearing loss and remediation through hearing aid and assistive listening device technology. She is a peer assessor with the College of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists of Ontario.
Chiropractor/Physiotherapist: Dr Jenny Bekeschus PT, DC
Jenny Bekeschusis one of only six practioners in Ontario licensed to practice both Physiotherapy and Chiropractic medicine. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Rehabilitative Medicine, University of Toronto and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with more than 15 years of experience in treating accident, trauma and orthopedic injuries.
Fitness Trainer: Domenic Mirabelli
Domenic graduated with a Kinesiology and Health Sciences degree from York University . He is a certified Professional Fitness and Lifestyle consultant providing Personal Training and Fitness Consultation services for over 12 years. His clients have included the Toronto Maple Leafs, the National Figure Skating and Track and Field teams, the Toronto Firefighters and Police recruits. He has extensive experience working with clients who have special medical or physical needs including: Obesity, Heart Disease, Diabetes, and High Blood pressure.
